Before having him, I was convinced that I would never give him one--that was for parents that were not completely "there" for there children. Well, we lasted 1 week. And, I realized that "to pacifier" or "not to pacifier" was not really all that important in the Grand Scheme of Life. We all survived! Then, she might sleep a bit longer, because you're not jostling her to lay her down. Another trick, you could put her in her carseat to sleep.
